Stage I (Pre-Design Stage) 1. Take architects/owners' instructions and prepare design basis report and approximate estimated cost for MEP works.
2. Visit and inspect site if required.
3. On approval of preliminary report, prepare preliminary layout.
Stage II (Preliminary Design) 1. Preparation of the MEP scheme layout, drawings and details in co-ordination with architectural & structural drawings.
2. Preparation of proper heat load estimates of various floors with different zones/ areas, firefighting pipe routing, sewage treatment plant, rainwater harvesting, electric cable trays.
3. Detailed layouts indicating transformer, D. G. , U. G. Tank, Overhead Tank, Chillers Plant Rooms, detailed duct design, piping design and air- distribution management.
Stage III (Documentation) 1. Preparation of cost estimate with detailed bill of quantities in consultation/discussion with architects/ owners.
2. Preparation of tender documents and drawings & invitations for quotations from short listed contractors (in consultation with architects/ owners).
3. Negotiations/meetings with the contractors and preparing the techno-commercial analysis for comparison.
4. Awarding of the contract.
Stage IV (Co-ordination) 1. Progress-check meetings on a regular basis at site, with all other agencies working at site (in consultation with architect/owners).
2. Inspection/supervision of technical requirement and fulfillment of works.
3. Commissioning of AC, electrical & plumbing, firefighting systems.
4. Certification of bills (If required).
